AD CV out

Would it be possible, to have a simple envelope generator output CV, so it can be hooked directly to a VCA.
Basically to save up space in my modular. It would make it possible to have rhythmic VCA’s and feed tham all sorts of material.

Anyways looking very much forward to this one 🙂

With “trig envelopes” MIDI and CV goes hand in hand. Triggered envelopes are AD envelopes with velocity as amplitude and gate as decay time, the attack can be modulated by any of the modulation lanes. They can be used as dynamic modulation source for VCA/LPGs

pmsorhaindo Exactly, you can check some demos where we use the Trig envelopes.
In the current implementation the step gate is tied to the decay, and in the future the attack could be routable to a modulation source.

Manuel Hi Manuel, finally got mine and really enjoying having an initial mess around and getting to grips with the interface, do you know how far off in the pipeline modulating the envelope attack might be? Will be incredibly useful once implemented.

It’s a bit far because I have to rework the modulation “MOD” implementation a bit to allow more options.
The idea is being able to assign it to any of the modulation lanes.

Manuel oh no mess in the negative sense, was just saying I was "“having a mess around” which has the same meaning as “playing around” (or even "“monkeying around”), all good so far!

Understood, I appreciate it is probably very low on the priority list, but it will definitely be much appreciated once implemented, to dial in some extremely detailed eurorack percussion. My Minibrute 2S can do it with two channels but it would be amazing to have another 8 at my disposal!

Oh! Is minibrute2s implementing ADs? I got once 3 years ago and that’s when i decided to start with the OXI One 🙂

Manuel Oh yeah it’s one of the main reasons I got it! The Velocity and Pressure tracks can be set as LFOs or AD envelopes with per-step attack and decay (no amplitude though). I definitely mentioned this to you guys in one of your early youtube videos 😅

The LFO function can also have per-step rate and amplitude, which would be amazing to see on the One… 😁

1- the amp is intrinsically modulated by the Step velocity. A second modulation source may be implemented in the future, because velocity can already be modulated in many different ways!

2- per step lfo settings is climbing up in the todo list 🙂
