Carlos I’ve got midi filtering set to ON which works great. But my question is different.
Current setup: SEQ 1 = CV out to modular, SEQ 2 = cv out to modular, SEQ3 = midi out to Digitone, SEQ4 = midi (kick) to cv for sidechain ducking in the modular.
Midi channels on SEQ 1 and 2 are set to off. When playing notes on SEQ 2, I like to record them in the sequencer. Hitting record records notes in SEQ2, but also the incoming midi notes on SEQ4.
Apparently this is the case on many sequencers: Keystep Pro or Squarp Pyramid also behaves like this. Recording is always active on all tracks, not exclusive to 1 track which is highlighted at the moment you press record.
Don’t know if it’s possible, but wouldn’t it make sense to be able to excusively record on 1 sequencer instead on all at the same time?
