OXI Desktop APP v2.1

Hello everyone!

We’re glad to introduce the 2.0 version of our Desktop app.
The main features are:

Make the FW Update procedure a bit easier with fewer steps.
Get projects and all its patterns from the OXI One.
Send the projects back to the OXI One in whatever position.

eturnigy Does the most recent release 2.1.0 work for you? We downgraded to Qt5 which is compatible to Windows 7.

Please let us know if this release works for Windows 7 as we have limited testing capacity.

Thanks for reporting. This is likely because the application is based on Qt 6.2.4 which is not supported on Windows 7.

I created an issue https://gitlab.com/manuwind5/Oxi-Desktop-App/-/issues/11 that considers to compile against Qt5 which is supported on Windows 7. Do you have any chance to use a Windows 10 operating system?

Also a Windows 7 user (64bit with no other OS available) that is having the same issue running the application. Would love a Qt5 version as I’m very excited about the ability to store and backup my patches. Thank you for everyone’s hard work for such an awesome device!

This one doesn’t work on Mojave anymore.

So if we’re running Mac OS Mojave, the old OXI updater doesn’t seem to recognize the OXI One and I can’t install the new updater. What’s the solution at this point to upgrade the OXI hardware?

Unless I’m missing some step in the process.

I am having the same problem on my old Mac Pro, can’t go higher than Mojave.

Glad I still have a newer MacBook Pro to do the update. I probably would have asked
a friend to help me out if I did not have my laptop.

Not sure how many OXI ONE users still use Mojave, I guess only very few, so I understand
OXI to not support it. I can personally live with it.

A lot of music apps and peripherals are not always updated promptly for many reasons. Folks tend to create a stable music platform and then leave it alone and focus on using it. I know in my case, I can’t upgrade until/unless the Weiss AFI-1 drivers get updated. If I update and the drivers don’t work, that takes out my entire I/O to and from the computer.

The Mac Mini I use for music is treated mostly like an appliance - it just powers up and works. Vendors that provide a customized update process sometimes end up spending almost as much time on app support as on their main product.

Hmm weird, I was using Mojave not that long ago. Catalina until last month.
The app is built with Qt5, it can be compiled even for High Sierra!

if your OS is not supported, you can use the Sysex Librarian App to send the firmware file to your OXI One. You would need to manually turn it on in Update modE: PRESS MUTE+POWER ON
